"?Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would fit in well at Arsenal, according to his former national team-mate Daniel Cousin.
Aubameyang has been linked with a transfer this summer with Real Madrid reportedly interested in the forward following an incredibly prolific season that saw him score 39 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.
Gabon coach Jorge Costa recently revealed that Aubameyang asked not to be called up to the national team as he is on the verge of changing clubs and now Cousin, his compatriot, has chipped in with his opinion on where the star forward should go next.
The retired Gabon international believes the 26-year-old would be a success at a number of elite European clubs, but he sees Arsenal as an ideal move.
"Arsenal, because the team play very well but the team need another striker to win the title," Cousin told BBC when asked to pick a team for Aubameyang, via Metro.
"And I think if he plays with [Mesut] Ozil, he will give good assists. I think he can play very well with this team."
Borussia Dortmund have played down rumors that Aubameyang is angling for a move away with the club's chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke labeling such reports 'nonsense'.
