"?Incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he will only be handling coaching and footballing matters at the Etihad Stadium next season.
Guardiola takes charge of his final game as Bayern Munich boss in today's German Cup Final against bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund, before succeeding Manuel Pellegrini in Manchester this summer.
And the former Barcelona coach stated that he will be leaving other aspects of the club to others and concentrating solely on football.
"I am a coach and a coach only. And I will only be a coach at Manchester City next season."
Despite his comments, Guardiola is still likely to have a huge part to play in deciding which players City sign this summer, with the Blues already linked with Aymeric Laporte, Paul Pogba and James Rodriguez.
City's wealthy owners are hopeful that Guardiola will transfer the success he has enjoyed as a manager in both Spain and Germany.
Prior to winning three Bundesliga titles in a row, he collected three La Liga's and two Champions League's as Nou camp boss.
City are without a Premier League title since 2014, and they have never won the Champions League, with the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1970 currently their sole European triumph.
