The odds on "?Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain moving to Premier League champions Leicester City this summer has been slashed by bookies.

"?SkyBet's odds on the 22-year-old winger, who has fallen out of favour at the Emirates due to persistent injury problems, to sign with the newly crowned Foxes have been cut to just 7/4 - just ahead of Manchester City at 8/1, with former club Southampton at 9/1 and West Ham at 10/1.

This comes after "?reports that Midlands side Leicester are planning an approach for Oxlade-Chamberlain in what could be a busy summer transfer window for the Midlands side.

However, the Gunners player is set to have a disappointing time this summer after a knee injury he sustained in February has ruled him out of the European Championships next month.

He is expected to return to fitness in pre-season, but with both Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshire also soon to return from injuries, Oxlade-Chamberlain may struggle to find his footing in Arsene Wenger's starting line-up.

Matt Le Tissier believes that for him to find the first team football he craves, Oxlade-Chamberlain should rejoin former club Southampton.

The Southampton legend told the "?Mirror:  "He's a very good player. He's obviously suffered with injuries in the last couple of seasons so he's not really been a regular in that Arsenal side.

"If the boy wants to play regular first team football and be a first choice in the team then sure it's realistic, it's not like he'd be dropping down to the bottom half of the table.

Oxlade-Chamberlain left the Saints for Arsenal in 2011 for £12m but has yet to reach his full potential at the club.

Le Tissier added: "He could join a team that are challenging for European places. OK, it's not the Champions League at the moment but we've certainly challenged for Europa League places over the past three seasons.

"It's not as big a drop as it might have been a couple of years ago."?
