Coach Abdul Bidemi Biffo has signed an improved one-year contract at Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Abia Warriors.
The former Niger Tornadoes coach finished the immediate past Nigerian top-flight with the Umuahia outfit in 13th position with 48 points.
The former Giwa FC tactician endorsed his contract papers on Friday as chief coach to work under the newly appointed technical adviser, Okey Emordi.
Biffo said he is happy with the new role at Abia Warriors as further tutorial under a versed and experienced coach like Emordi will make him an all-rounder and best in the profession.
“I just signed an improved one-year contract with Abia Warriors as chief coach to work under the technical adviser, Okey Emordi.
“I’m happy with the new contract and it goes further to show that I’m appreciated and wanted at Abia Warriors.
“I strongly believe in Abia Warriors and my focus right now is to see that Emordi succeeds.
“Of course, if Emordi succeeds I too will succeed as well as the team.
“I’m sure working under an experienced coach like Emordi will ultimately make me a better coach.
“I’m young in the profession and determined to learn more under veteran and experienced coaches.
“Of course, our aim is the win a slot at the continent, Emordi has done it before with Enyimba and together with the cooperation of everyone we will do it even better this time around,” said the former Kogi United coach.
Biffo is expected to lend the whole helping hands to Emordi to succeed in the upcoming Nigerian top-flight tentatively fixed for December 11.
