Chairman Nigeria Football Federation Referees appointment committee, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh has revealed the programs in place for the first quarter of FIFA fitness test (2017).
As FIFA referees arrive today, Fresh explained the outline of event “The FIFA referees will have their medical done today which will enable us to know their medical status”.
Meanwhile, the programme may not have every FIFA badged referee in attendance due to continental engagements and midweek NPFL fixtures.
Fresh however revealed that those (referee’s) engaged will be given opportunity to do their medical and their running a week after this program.
The program is in line with the standard Fifa procedure to have fitness tests for match officials done four times in a year; (1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter and 4th quarter),
