NFF Secretary Charges Nigerian Players To Improve

General secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Muhammed Sanusi has expressed delight with the recognition of Nigerian players at the 2016 CAF awards in Abuja.

Super Falcons won the Women Team of the Year and Striker, Asisat Oshoala was voted the Women’s Player of the Year.

On the night, Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi also collected awards. The former was voted Most Promising Talent while the latter edged out every competition to win the 2016 Youth Player award.

Speaking with our sports team,  the FA Scribe hoped Nigerian players will step up their game in 2017 and win more laurels at the next edition of the CAF Awards.
