"?Napoli appear to have secured the signature of Genoa's Leonardo Pavoletti after their president welcomed the striker to the club.
Aurelio de Laurentiis posted a tweet to his "?official Twitter account, to welcome Pavoletti to the Stadio San Paolo, ahead of the official confirmation of his 13m euros (£11m) transfer from Il Grifone.
Pavoletti had been training with Napoli since the end of December, and is expected to sign a four-year deal with Napoli when his transfer is officially confirmed by the club.
His arrival could accelerate the departure of fellow forward Manolo Gabbiadini, who has fallen out of favour under Maurizio Sarri this term despite a dearth of striking options due to injuries and suspensions.

The news will also come as a further blow to Genoa's fanbase after midfielder Tomas Rincon joined Napoli's title rivals Juventus on January 2 and, ahead of his move being completed, Pavoletti posted an emotional goodbye on his "?Facebook page to thank Genoa's fans for their support during his time at the club.
The 28-year-old wrote: "A simple speech, like me. I'm saying goodbye to Genoa and to Genova after two intense years full of excitement, enthusiasm and hard work.
"I remember the beginning: January 2015. I was at home in Livorno when suddenly I got a phonecall: "?Come to Milan tomorrow, you're signing for Genoa'. I couldn't sleep that night because of the excitement, a big club which have decorated the history of football with their own colours.
"I felt it was the right place, a new home in which to grow and become great. Now this story has reached the end credits, but the love for this city and this shirt hasn't. Love affairs don't end, they just take a new form.
"Today I'm being called to a new adventure, but I won't forget those I loved and who loved me, because they're part of me.
"I want to close by thanking everyone. Thanks to the President, the club, the Coach - present and past - , teammates, fans, staff, gardeners, janitors at the training ground and the stadium. I'm grateful for every word, the criticism, praise and pats on the shoulder you have given me.
"I was born on the sea, in Livorno. I was born by the sea again, in Genoa. Now I'll find another sea, for another adventure."?
Pavoletti notched 25 goals in 46 matches for Genoa after he completed a switch from Sassuolo in July 2015.
The ex-Varese youth star has been called up to the Italian senior national side on three occasions, but is yet to make his debut for his homeland.
