Alvaro Morata has stated that he won't be discussing his future at Juventus following the striker's dramatic extra-time winner in the Coppa Italia Final.
Rumours have been circulating for weeks and months on end about the Italian's next destination, with the likes of Real Madrid and Arsenal reportedly being very interested in securing his services. Despite this, Morata stated that he wants to instead focus on this summer's European Championships, as reported by "?ESPN.
"It's not my last game of the season as I have to play in the Euros,'' Morata told Rai Sport. "I have to make the most of my current form and not even think about the future.''
Morata upped his price tag even more last night when his 110th minute goal helped Juventus to defeat AC Milan 1-0, meaning that Juve became the first team in the history of Italian football to secure back-to-back domestic doubles in the league and cup. The victory also ensured that Milan will miss out on European football for a third consecutive year.
Despite all of the uncertainty that surrounds him, the striker decided to switch topics and discuss the pre-match predictions of his family friends that actually came to fruition.
"Yesterday my friends said I'd come off the bench and score, so they were right,'' said Morata.
"Today was a good day, my father and friends are in the stands.
"We have to compliment Milan, as they put in a fine performance and made it really difficult for us, but it's the result that counts.''
