"?Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi's wife, who is also his agent, has categorically ruled out any chance of her husband leaving the Italian club.
After recent events with the Ultras of Inter, there have been increasing rumours of a move away from the club for the Argentine forward, with Arsenal strongly linked.
Sections of the club's support have demanded that he be stripped of the captaincy and sold, but Icardi's wife, Wanda, has issued a hands off warning to any interested parties.
Speaking to the Argentine press, quoted by "?TalkSport, she said: "Absolutely not. He has just renewed his contract for five years, which includes a termination clause of €110m for foreign teams.
"There have been offers from other clubs, but Inter conducted themselves in an incredible way with Mauro. He has always worked hard to stay at the club."
Despite the seemingly terminal rift between the player and some of the club's fans, Icardi is set to keep the captaincy. He is expected to pay a fine which he will donate to a children's charity.
Inter released an "?official statement in which Icardi apologised for his words and made it clear that he wishes to continue with the club.
"It all stemmed from a page of my book which was probably written in haste," he said.
"This has offended a lot of people but you always need to look forward and, if possible, do everything in your power to get things back to normal.
"I've spoken to the club today and we've put this sorry incident behind us and we all have one aim. We want the best for Inter because nothing is bigger than this club."
