"?Lukas Podolski believes his German compatriot Bastian Schweinsteiger can end his Manchester United nightmare by moving to the MLS.
Podolski, who is currently considering his own future after struggling to establish himself at Galatasary, said Schweinsteiger's situation at United is unfair and revealed he would like to play with the midfielder once again.
Schweinsteiger moved to United from Bayern Munich last summer and made 31 appearances under Louis van Gaal, but has played no part under Jose Mourinho and was omitted from the team's Europa League squad, a clear signal of where he lies in the Portuguese coach's plans.

Podolski believes a move to the MLS would suit Schweinsteiger at this point in his career, joining the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard in making the move to America.
"I think America is great," Podolski told"? Bild.
"Moving abroad is good for personality development and it would also be good for our children. Clearly it would be possible to play with Schweinsteiger in the States."

"What happened to [Schweinsteiger] is unfair. It is not correct to deport Basti to the second team. A coach must always keep the doors open to all players," Podolski added.
Schweinsteiger continues to train with United's U23 development squad and although Mourinho had made clear his decision not to consider the 32-year-old for selection, the player himself said he would be ready if the club ever needed him.
"I will be ready, if the team needs me. This is all I can say about my current situation. I want to thank the fans for the amazing support over the last few weeks."
