Turkey winger Emre Mor has revealed he chose Borussia Dortmund over Liverpool because of a personal phone call from Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel persuading him to sign with the Bundesliga outfit.
Mor, 18, became Turkey's youngest ever player at a major tournament after replacing Cenk Tosun in the 1-0 defeat to Croatia on Sunday.
Liverpool were favourites to sign the 18-year old, who was playing in the Danish league for FC Nordsjælland, but he signed for Jurgen Klopp's former club Dortmund on a five-year deal instead.
Both Manchester United and Manchester City were also keen to sign the highly-rated youngster, but the player still feels that Borussia Dortmund was the right choice.

"I was not even thinking about Dortmund but then I got a call from Thomas Tuchel and he told me directly that he wants me at the club and that he has big plans for me,"? Mor told reporters after Turkey's opening game against Croatia.
"If it was not for Tuchel I probably would not have joined but he convinced me where nobody else could."?
Emre Mor could be in line with a place in Turkey's starting XI when they face off against Spain on Friday, with Turkey boss Fatih Terim aiming to prove doubters wrong following a disappointing start to Euro 2016.
