"?Liverpool scouts have been sent to watch Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud as Reds boss Jurgen Klopp keeps an eye on his top transfer target.
According to the Mirror, the 20-year-old has been earmarked by the Liverpool hierarchy as the player for the future, and are set to keep track of the player's development ahead of the winter transfer window this season.

Liverpool scouts are set to watch the midfielder play for Germany's U21's against Finland on Tuesday night, who has been a favourite of Klopp's now for some time in the transfer market.
The former Dortmund coach was unable to prize away the player from Monchengladbach, despite the fact that the young German international had only broken into the senior set-up last year.
The club's sporting director Max Eberl personally rejected the £25m move for Dahoud, stating that he was not for sale after allowing Granit Xhaka leave for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Despite this deterrence, it is believed that Klopp will stop at nothing until he gets his man in order to bolster his midfield options, but has accepted that he may have to wait until next summer until he can bring the player to Merseyside.
As a result, Monchengladbach have been scrambling in order to secure a new contract for the player in a bid to cement his future in the Bundesliga, despite the former academy product rejecting a new deal previously with just two years left.
Some Liverpool supporters have argued, however, that a left-back is of greater importance following the plummeting form of current starter Alberto Moreno, after Klopp failed to address the problem in the summer transfer window.
