"?Liverpool scouts were seen in Gelsenkirchen on Saturday to watch Germany's 2-0 Euro warm-up victory against Hungary, with their top two targets being Mario Gotze and Jonas Hector.
The "?Daily Mail reports that despite adding three new players to their squad already this summer - goalkeeper Loris Karius, defender Joel Matip and midfielder Marko Grujic - Jurgen Klopp is keen to bolster his squad further ahead of the new campaign, with Gotze and Hector top of his list.
Jonas Hector currently plays for FC Koln in the Bundesliga, and the experienced 26-year-old left-back looks set to start for the Germans in the Euros this summer.
Klopp is keen to strengthen the area currently occupied by Spanish defender Alberto Moreno, whose inconsistency has left the Reds coach concerned over his ability, especially after their Europa League final loss to Sevilla.
Second target Gotze has been on Liverpool's radar for some time now, with Klopp an avid admirer of the player he coached and nurtured at former club Borussia Dortmund, before the 24-year-old moved to German rivals Bayern Munich in 2013.
Since then, the World Cup winning midfielder has struggled to make an impact at the German champions, starting just 11 Bundesliga games last season and spending most of his time coming off the bench, while influential members on the Bayern board have reservations over whether the youngster is the right fit for the club.
Liverpool are still keen to bring the ex-Dortmund star to Anfield in the hope of resurrecting his career, despite reportedly being rebuffed several times by Mario's father, as well as the player himself, who has commented on his excitement at playing under new Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti.
