"?Liverpool have reportedly expressed interest in taking Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia on loan in January, according to "?Web Calcio.
Despite having an excellent midfield consisting of Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana and summer signing Georginio Wijnaldum, with Marko Grujic and Emre Can waiting in the wings on the bench, Jurgen Klopp is open to bolstering his squad further.
Kondogbia signed for Inter in 2015 for a whopping fee of £31m and has largely failed to meet expectations at the San Siro and came under stinging criticism from manager Frank de Boer recently after a 1-1 draw with Bologna during which the player was substituted after just 28 minutes.

De Boer accused Kondogbia of not listening to instructions from the coaching staff and blasted the Frenchman for repeatedly making the same mistake. The view now, at Liverpool, is that the out-of-favour midfielder can be lured to Anfield on loan - meaning Liverpool do not have to contend with his wages.
"This morning we talked about it, that he had to play simple and on the Bologna goal he did not do that,' de Boer told Mediaset Premium.

"We already talked about this and he makes the same mistakes often. We cannot accept that from players when we've told them many times already. I told him this morning, so if he doesn't want to listen, then what can I do? It's not the first time we've discussed it. We told him many times, he doesn't want to listen."
Kondogbia is still only 23 and it is believed, that with the correct discipline and direction, he can still become one of the finest central midfielders in Europe - an indication of why Inter coughed up £31m for him in the first place.
