Liverpool Offered €60m-Rated Barcelona Full-Back Aleix Vidal

"?Barcelona's flying full-back Aleix Vidal could be on the move and Liverpool are waiting in the wings, "?Sport Witness report.

Vidal joined the Blaugrana from Sevilla last summer in an €18m deal but he has been forced to play second-fiddle to Dani Alves.

The 26-year-old didn't make his debut for Barca until January, due to their transfer embargo, and he only went on to make 14 appearances in all competitions this season.

Luis Enrique wants to keep Vidal, as doubts surround Alves' future at the Nou Camp, but the player's representative is said to have offered him to Liverpool.

The Spaniard's release clause stands at a staggering €60m and, as Jurgen Klopp already boasts Nathaniel Clyne at right-back, it's difficult to see the move materialising.

Klopp is being tipped to go on a massive spending spree this summer as he looks to mold the Reds into credible title challengers.

Deals have already been completed for Joel Matip, Loris Karius and Marko Grujic, whilst a move for Bayern Munich's midfield maestro Mario Gotze is also being touted.

Meanwhile, several fringe players face a battle for their futures with Christian Benteke set to be the biggest casualty.

Jordan Ibe, Martin Skrtel and Benteke have failed to prove their worth and Klopp is ready to show them the Anfield exit door.
