"?Liverpool are reportedly eyeing up €30m rated Napoli midfielder Lorenzo Insigne to potentially replace Philippe Coutinho as Barcelona's interest in the Brazilian appears to be intensifying.

Coutinho's scintillating start to the season for Jurgen Klopp's Reds has seen the biggest clubs in Europe take notice of the Brazilian international, none more so than Spanish giants Barcelona, who are keen to persuade the Merseyside club to part with their star player for a hefty sum.

And, according to Mediaset Premium, via "?Football Italia, Liverpool's concerns about possibly losing the 24-year-old magician are increasing to an extent that reports have suggested that they have already earmarked a replacement from Serie A - Napoli's Insigne.

The creative and intelligent Italian international's position at the club is under scrutiny following a disagreement over a contract extension, with Insigne demanding that his weekly wages with the side be doubled, but Napoli are unwilling to accept such an offer.

With the player's future at his hometown club in major doubt, Liverpool are reportedly ready to put 25-year-old out of his misery with a transfer bid of €30m, while offering him a contract worth €6.5m - tripling his existing contract with Napoli.

Hearing of this potential deal, Napoli have reportedly joined in the earmarking process with a possible deal for out-of-sort and outcasted Manchester United winger Memphis Depay, who is looking to escape Mourinho's team for consistent first team football, but the Italian side face competition from fellow Serie A rivals AC Milan and AS Roma.
