Liverpool have announced the departure of their young midfielder Joao Teixeira, confirming he will join Porto upon the completion of his contract in July, according to a report in the "?International Business Times.
Teixeira has joined his 'dream' club on a free transfer, and has signed a deal until 2020, after rejecting a new contract at Anfield. The 23-year-old told Porto's official website: "I am very happy. It's a dream for me to play in this great club."
The Reds also confirmed his departure on their official website, including the statement: "Liverpool would like to wish Joao all the best for his future career with his new club."

"?The youngster made a number of U21 Premier League appearances for Liverpool during the 2012/13 season. He scored 2 goals in his Liverpool U21 campaign, also reaching the competition's semi-finals, where they lost 3"?0 to Manchester United.
Brendan Rogers gave Teixeira his Liverpool first-team debut after impressing the U21 team in his 2013/14 season, while he ended that season with 5 goals in 13 appearances.
Teixeira will look to revive his career at his Porto and help the team improve after last year's disappointing trophy-less season.
