Liverpool Among the Latest Clubs Linked With Summer Move for Moussa Sissoko

"?Liverpool are just the latest Premier League club to have been linked with a summer move for Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko, with the French international widely tipped to leave St James' Park after relegation.

According to a story that has originated from L'Equipe in the player's home country, the Reds, along with both Tottenham and West Ham, are believed to have expressed an interest in Sissoko.

It comes just a day after Arsenal were reportedly looking to prepare a bid. It was said at the time that Newcastle could be prepared to accept £10m or less for the 26-year-old who destroyed Tottenham on the final day of the Premier League season last weekend.

The Magpies only paid £1.5m to buy Sissoko from Toulouse in January 2013, so anything towards eight figures would still represent a significant profit and a much needed cash boost as they drop in the Championship.

Sissoko has been heavily linked with various moves to various clubs over the last few season but has always remained on Tyneside, and this is now the opportunity to prise him away.

With 35 caps for France and a member of the squad that is tipped to win Euro 2016 this summer, Sissoko is stilled very well thought of despite his association and involvement in Newcastle's conspicuous demise.

Although it hasn't been seen too often over the last 18 months, he has got the ability to be a real top quality Premier League player. His driving runs, pace and strength are too much for most defenders to handle when he gets going and would be an asset to any top team if he can find consistency.

Liverpool, Spurs and West Ham in particular would all benefit should one of them be able to secure his prized highly signature.
