"?Lille right-back Sebastien Corchia said he would be delighted if his club manage to sign Liverpool reject Mamadou Sakho, who is almost certain to leave Anfield this month after being frozen out by Jurgen Klopp.

According to recent reports, several clubs have already contacted Liverpool over Sakho, with Lille thought to be one of the potential suitors.

Corchia thinks that Sakho and Lille would be a good fit, with the Frenchman rated very highly in France following his spell with Paris Saint-Germain.

"Of course I would welcome him at Lille", Corchia said on French TV programme "?Telefoot.

"Also, he is a super guy "? I know him well.

"I find him very tough", Corchia added.

Sakho is said to be keen on securing a permanent move away from Liverpool following a season of torment, and Klopp appeared to confirm that there was no improvement in their relationship after the German said the following when asked about him: "The situation is clear. At this moment there is no reason to talk (to him)."

Sevilla reportedly approached Liverpool over a move for Sakho while Southampton were also said to be lining up an ambitious bid as they brace themselves for Virgil van Dijk's eventual departure, while club captain Jose Fonte has handed in a transfer request.
