"?Serie A giants Juventus are scouting promising Ajax teenager Kasper Dolberg, according to "?Calcio Mercato.
Ajax are renowned throughout the footballing world for producing immense talent throughout their history and in recent years, with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Wesley Sneijder and Rafael van der Vaart amongst others all coming through the ranks at the Dutch club and making their marks at top European clubs.
Dolberg is now being tipped to be the next big thing to develop at the club, having scored five Eredivisie goals and created one assist during his 11 league games. He has now been linked with a potential move to Italian club Juventus, who are looking into the possibility of replacing 30-year-old Mario Mandzukic.
Nicknamed the 'next Milik', Dolberg has impressed Juve scouts despite the Old Lady not originally intending on scouting the 19-year-old. The club were initially interested in midfielders Davy Klaassen and Riechedly Bazoer, but have now turned their attentions to Dolberg following his impressive performances so far this season.
Dolberg's start to the campaign has seen him called up to Denmark's international squad, and he could make his debut when his side take on Kazakhstan on Friday at the Telia Parken in Copenhagen.
The outgoing Arkadiusz Milik joined Napoli during the summer after Gonzalo Higuain left for Juventus, paving the way for Dolberg to start the season as Ajax's leading striker. Having signed for the club back in 2014 for a mere €300,000, the club now value the forward at €2m.
At that price, Juventus may well have found their Mandzukic replacement as well as a young understudy to seasoned goal-getter Higuain.
