Juventus Legend Liam Brady Compares Current Turin Striker to Fellow Club Great Roberto Baggio

"?Former Juventus and Arsenal midfielder Liam Brady has disregarded comparisons made between himself and the club's current striker Paulo Dybala, instead comparing him to club great Roberto Baggio.

The Irish midfielder left Arsenal after nine years and 235 appearances to join the Old Lady in 1980, and went on to make 76 appearances for Juventus in a spell that saw him lift the Serie A title for the Italian giants.

Amongst the current crop of talent in the modern day Juventus side, it has been suggested that Argentine striker Paulo Dybala resembles the former Gunner in his style, however Brady, in an interview with "?Goal.com, was quick to quash these comparisons, suggesting the 22-year-old reminds him of another club hero.

"I was more a midfielder player, while he is more like a secondary striker," said Brady.

"He is a very exciting prospect. He reminds me of Roberto Baggio."

Roberto Baggio played for Juventus as a number 10 over a 5-year-period between 1990 and 1995, and went on to make 141 appearances, scoring 78 goals, winning the double of Serie A and the Coppa Italia in his final year, as well as a UEFA Cup victory in 1993.

Since joining the reigning Italian champions in 2015 from fellow Serie A side Palermo for €32m, Dybala has already shown he is capable of producing moments and winning trophies along the same standard as both Brady and Baggio did in their times respectively.

The Argentinian international has scored 20 goals in first 40 appearances for the club, and has already picked up the Serie A, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
