Italian champions Juventus have confirmed they are on the verge of signing midfielder Miralem Pjanic from rivals AS Roma, after tweeting images of the player preparing to undergo a medical in Turin.
Pjanic has been linked with transfers to a number of Europe's biggest clubs, with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Liverpool competing to sign the 26-year-old. The player however has recently looked to push through his exit from Rome, and he has chosen Juve as his next destination.

The club also produced a statement on their "?official website confirming that Pjanic was on the verge of signing for them, with the message reading: "Miralem Pjanic is currently at J-Medical, where he is undergoing a medical ahead of a proposed move to Juventus from Roma.
"This is the first time that the innovative health centre, opened in March this year, has held routine check-ups for prospective Bianconeri players."
Pjanic informed Roma that he wished to join Juventus last week in a short letter addressed to General Manager Mauro Baldissoni - as Pjanic confirmed he would like to make the move across Italy and was entitled to a cut of the reported £30m transfer fee.
