"?Juventus have formally confirmed the signing of Bosnian international midfielder Miralem Pjanic from Roma in a €32m. The 26-year-old had recently been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United and even Barcelona but chose to head to Turin instead.

A product of the youth academy at Metz in France, Pjanic joined Lyon in 2008 and spent three years with the Ligue 1 giants, before making the switch to Italian football when he joined Roma in 2011.
Pjanic actually spent much of his childhood in Luxembourg after his family fled the conflict in the Balkans in the 1990s, settling in the tiny European nation. As such, prior to making his senior Bosnia & Herzegovina debut, he actually played for Luxembourg at junior international level.
