"?Italian champions Juventus are closing in on the capture of French international midfielder Blaise Matuidi, as they look to continue reinvesting the money received from Paul Pogba's move to Manchester United.
L'Equipe report on Wednesday that Juve will pay a fee of around €30m for the 29-year-old, with a further €4m coming in potential add-ons later down the line. Talks have not yet reached a solid agreement, but a deal is believed to be close as the player's place in Unai Emery's new-look side is far from assured.

Matuidi will likely sign a four-year contract with Juve, and the deal could be completed at some point this week. His transfer will mean another huge payday for his agent Mino Raiola, who has also put together a series of deals for other clients this summer - namely new Manchester United trio Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pogba.
Miralem Pjanic, Dani Alves and Gonzalo Higuain are among the big names to join the Turin-giants this summer, and Matuidi could be their final capture of the summer window to replace the energy that Pogba brought to the team before his departure. Pogba signed for United for £89m earlier this month.
His departure is set to happen despite the fact Emery revealed there was a place in the team for him last month, as he told a news conference: "Matuidi is a fantastic footballer and he belongs to PSG. We're waiting for him. He is a great footballer and logically I don't want to dispense with great footballers.
"We've spoken about how there are a lot of midfielders and that there could be a situation in a given moment that the player could leave, but of course, I as coach am behind him. The circumstances could change that, but in principle, it's not what I want."
