"?Barcelona look set for one of their biggest shake-ups in years this summer, with Juventus general director Beppe Marotta discussing ongoing negotiations for Barca pair Dani Alves and Javier Mascherano.
The pair have been two members of Luis Enrique's first-choice back four for much of his time at the club, but look set to move to pastures new in the summer - particularly Alves, who was said to be close to a move away from the Catalan giants last summer, too.

Marotta confirmed on Monday that Juventus were in talks over a move for 33-year-old full-back Alves, "?reportedly telling Sky Sports: "I can confirm that the negotiations for Dani Alves are coming along well and we are very satisfied with them."
Mascherano has also had his name discussed in relation to a possible move to Italy, with Marotta admitting: "We are dealing with the topic of Mascherano, but this negotiation and that of Andre Gomes, [who has also been linked to Juventus] are more complicated. For now, there is nothing new to report."
With Alves well past the age of 30 and Mascherano turning 32 in early June, a shake-up of defensive personnel and some fresh faces may actually be exactly what Barcelona need after a season which - by their own astronomical standards - was merely acceptable, dropping out of the Champions League at the quarter final stage and barely squeaking La Liga.

29 goals conceded over the course of the league campaign is far from a disastrous number, but compared to the defence of Atletico Madrid - who allowed just 18 goals all season - there are clearly significant improvements to be made.
