Juventus manager "?Massimiliano Allegri has hailed his club's young stars after they helped inspire a win over Serie A rivals Cagliari.
Goals from Daniele Rugani, Gonzalo Higuain, Dani Alves and a late Luca Ceppitelli own goal gave Juventus a resounding 4-0 win to send the Old Lady top of Serie A, and Allegri was quick to wax lyrical over the contribution of some of his younger players. The likes of Rugani, 22, and Mario Lemina, 23, who helped force the fourth goal, were among the young players who helped secure the three points of Wednesday night.
"The kids did very well. After 2-0, we could slow down. We must also learn to manage the development of the game," Allegri "?reportedly told Premium Sports.
"We were very good immediately, giving intensity to the game. Dybala scored 19 goals last season and he played very well tonight."
Juventus moved to the top of Serie A thanks to Napoli's draw with Genoa, and Allegri was quick to urge his players to focus on their upcoming games against Palermo in the league and Zenit in the Champions League.
"We must remain calm goals and make Saturday and Tuesday our aims," he maintained.
"The important thing was to win again and get back to the top."
With Gonzalo Higuain signing from Napoli in the summer, Allegri has been dealt the dilemma of rotating the former Real Madrid forward with the likes of Paolo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic, or perhaps combining the strikers in a three man attack.
When asked about the possibility of starting the trio of Dybala, Mandzukic and Higuain, Allegri maintained that it was a option they were interested in exploring.
"Last year Mandzukic was crucial and this year it will be the same. He can also play with Higuain," he continued.
"[A three man attack] may happen in the league or in the Champions League. We just need to find the right balance."
