"?Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has calmed the hype surrounding new signing Sadio Mane following his side's 5-0 victory over Burton in the second round of the EFL Cup.
Mane joined the Reds from Southampton during the summer and has made an impressive start to life with the Merseyside club, producing a scintillating performance during his debut against Arsenal and then playing a part in four of Liverpool's five goals in the 5-0 drubbing of Burton on Tuesday night.
But Klopp has maintained that it is more important for his team to continue improving rather than become too excited following the former Red Bull Salzburg winger's rapid start to life at Anfield.
"I like this player but I do not like talking about him too much," the former Dortmund boss "?told The Mirror.
"We do not have to celebrate ourselves every day just because we have bought him. We have to try and improve. There is nothing else to say about this at the moment."
Klopp was pleased to see his side improve from their 2-0 Premier League defeat to Burnley on Saturday, with both Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge looking sharper in front of goal, with Divock Origi also got on the scoresheet.
"There were a few moments at Burnley where we had sharpness but it was unbelievable how many times where one more pass we had 15 times completely free in the box and we didn't see it."
Klopp was also happy that his side managed to avoid a cup upset on Tuesday night.
"It wasn't as difficult as it could have been, It's the most difficult draw we could have had. There weren't many other Premier League teams playing away against Championship teams in this round. There was a possibility for a shock if we hadn't been serious but we did our job."?
