"?New Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is ready to let both Daley Blind and Juan Mata leave the club this summer as he looks to rebuild his squad for next season, reported "?Sky Sports.
Both players were key members of the squad under Louis van Gaal in the last campaign, but Mourinho will let them exit Old Trafford if he receives a suitable offer and provided he can find direct replacements. Mata's position in the squad in particular has been called into question in the wake of Mourinho's appointment, as the Portuguese sold the 28-year-old while in his last job at Chelsea.

Neither player will feature in Mourinho's plans for United next season according to the report, as Mourinho looks to bring in a number of key targets who have already been identified. The likes of John Stones, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba are believed to be on his shopping list.
Mourinho was pictured at United's Carrington training ground on Monday meeting with both executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and Sir Bobby Charlton, where he started getting to grips with his new role. But the decision to offload both players - each of whom are fan favourites - is thought to have been one of his first big decisions at his new club.
Mata was sold by Mourinho from Chelsea to United in January 2014, as his former and now current boss became unhappy with the Spaniard's work rate and lack of pace. It's reported that Mourinho hasn't changed his mind on the attacking midfielder, and that Mata could be out of the exit door as a result. Former club Valencia and Atletico Madrid have been linked in the past.
Regarding Blind, Mourinho is said to believe that the Dutchman doesn't have the physical attributes to excel in a role as a centre half. While Blind is able to play in a number of positions, Mourinho is thought to be ready to cash in.
Blind signed for United for £14m from Ajax in the summer of 2014.
