"?AC Milan are reportedly lining up a bid of £26m for Liverpool star forward Daniel Sturridge, and are expected to make an approach in the January transfer window.
Sturridge isn't seen as part of Jurgen Klopp's plans going forward, and is now being linked to several clubs.
The Reds are doing quite well without him in their starting lineup, and have already hit 30 goals past their opponents in the Premier League. They are also at the top of the standings, leading second-placed Chelsea by one point and third-placed Manchester City by two points. Arsenal are also hot on their heels in fourth place, trailing by two points as well.
The former Chelsea forward has seen Roberto Firmino move ahead of him as first-choice striker. He has only started four top flight matches, with no goals coming his way. Four have been scored in the EFL Cup, however.
It is being rumoured that the player is ready to move on in search of playing time. Tottenham, West Ham and Stoke City are all thought to be interested, and Italian news source "?CalcioMercatoWeb are now reporting that Milan are eyeing a swoop.
The Serie A side may lose Carlos Bacca in January, and want Sturridge as a replacement if things do swing that way. The Colombian front man is said to have a strained relationship with new boss Vincenzo Montella, and Paris Saint-Germain could offer him an escape route.
Sturridge is contracted to Liverpool until 2019, but with the situation unlikely to change before January, an exit could be on the cards.
