"?Inter Milan coach Frank de Boer thinks his side were unfortunate to lose against Roma on Sunday night at the Stadio Olimpico.
Edin Dzeko and Kostas Manolas struck to consign the Nerazzurri to defeat and deny them the opportunity to go second in the Serie A standings.
Speaking on "?Inter's Official website, De Boer claimed the performance of his players merited more but bemoaned the amount of defensive mistakes.
"We didn't deserve to lose," he said. "But we did make too many errors, especially in the first-half when we gave away too many chances to Roma. Our attitude was good and, in the second half, it was the Inter I want to see.
"We were in control, but a naive foul led to us conceding the goal which made it 2-1. We just need to learn how to manage a full 90 minutes better. If we reduce the number of errors we make, we'll win more often.
"Roma are a top side and if you make too many errors, it's difficult to take three points home with you."

The Dutchman also revealed why new signing Gabriel Barbosa is yet to make his debut for the club after signing from Santos.
"He's trained really well this week and when a player shows me positive signs, it's right that they get a chance to make a contribution to the team," De Boer said. "The Brazilian's not fit enough yet to play at this rhythm. We all need to grow together."
Inter currently sit in 9th place in the league, their next game at home to Cagliari coming after the international break.
