Hoffenheim Defender Tops Jurgen Klopp's Transfer List as Reds Boss Plans Bundesliga Swoop

"?Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is looking once again to the Bundesliga as he looks to make sweeping changes at Anfield this summer.

Since joining the Reds, Klopp has been linked to a number of names from the German League, including a number of stars from former club Borussia Dortmund.

So far, Joel Matip was snapped up from Schalke for next season and he's looking to a fellow Germany under-21 star to bolster his defence.

Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule has impressed in the Bundesliga this term, and would likely be a replacement for Martin Skrtel, Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho, whose futures all remain uncertain.

Skrtel has been linked with a move to Besiktas, whilst Toure is out of contract and Sakho is still awaiting news on his failed drug test, meaning he could be suspended for a long period of time.

The centre-back stands at 6"5 and is an imposing figure at the back, and could form an all German partnership with Matip for the Reds next term.

According to the "?Daily Mail, Klopp feels he only needs one additional centre-back with Joe Gomez due to return from injury to provide competition with Dejan Lovren.

Further forays into the German market could see Klopp completing deals for long-held targets Mario Goetze of Bayern Munich and Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius.
