Harry Kane Says England Will Have One of the Best Strike Forces at Euro 2016

England striker Harry Kane believes his form in the Premier League, as well as Jamie Vardy's, means the pair should be considered as one of the top strikers on show in France this summer, as reported by the Mirror.

The pair scored a combined 49 Premier League goals, with Tottenham's Harry Kane securing the Golden Boot and Vardy's goals firing Leicester City to the Premier League title.

Both strikers have found the net regularly for England in their last few appearances, with Harry Kane scoring the opener against Turkey and Jamie Vardy netting the winner in the 2-1 victory over Turkey on Sunday.

But despite their relative inexperience at international level, 22-year-old Kane believes they will not be fazed in the pressure moments in France this summer.

And through their form in the Premier League, Kane believes they can both be as deadly in front of goal as Poland's Robert Lewandowski and Germany's Thomas Muller.

"Yes, definitely," the 22-year-old replied when asked whether they could be compared to the Bayern Munich pair.

"When you've got a pair of strikers who have scored 25 and 24 Premier League goals, it shows we have top strikers.

"We both scored again on Sunday and scoring is a good habit to have so, yeah, we're up there, we're confident, we're both scoring goals and long may it continue."

While Kane might be the expected first choice striker for Roy Hodgson this summer, there are question marks over how the England boss will accommodate returning skipper Wayne Rooney, who missed the match against Turkey due to the FA Cup final on Saturday, and Jamie Vardy in the starting line up.

Both Kane and Vardy, 29, started together on Sunday but the Spurs' attacker believes Hodgson can fit them all in as Rooney is now starting to occupy a much deeper role since his return from injury in April.

"He's not said anything,"? said Kane. "Obviously, Wayne has been doing great in that deeper position, but we've all got to fight for places.

"There are a lot of good midfielders and a lot of good strikers, so there are a lot of options in those positions and the manager will do what he wants to do. But whoever is playing, if Wayne is playing, I'm sure the service will be great and I will be happy to get on the end of it."
