"?AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is targeting a long stay at the Italian club after his breakout season, "?according to reports.
Speaking at an awards ceremony in Amalfi, youth prodigy Donnarumma spoke of his pride of playing for AC Milan, and also his appreciation of former coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who gave him his debut.
"I didn't expect to play at the beginning of the season, I'm grateful to coach Mihajlovic for having given me this opportunity."
17 year-old Donnarumma replaced first-choice goalkeeper Diego Alves in October after a three game winless run, and helped Milan record a 2-1 victory over Sassuolo, becoming the youngest goalie to ever start a match in the history of Italian football, at the age of 16 years and eight months.
And despite being linked with moves away from the San Siro, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly interested, Donnarumma is seemingly excited to remain with Milan.
"I see myself playing here for many years, it's true that I am young, but I see myself wearing this shirt for ten years, it's a dream,".
Donnarumma has made 30 league appearances during the 2015-16 season as Milan finished seventh in Serie A, and also made his debut for the Italian U21's, becoming the youngest player to play for the side at 17.
