"?David Ginola suffered a cardiac arrest late Thursday afternoon in Mandelieu, just outside of Nice, according to "?Get French Football News (h/t Nice Matin).
The 49-year-old, who played for Paris Saint, Germain, Newcastle and Tottenham was taking part in a golf competition at the Mapauto Golf Cup for various sports personalities, when he collapsed.
He is said to be unconscious, but in a stable condition after being intubated and placed on oxygen.
A medical helicopter has reportedly airlifted the ex-football player to Centre Hospitalier Princesse-Grace de Monaco.
