Brazil defender Filipe Luis believes that teammate Philippe Coutinho has the quality to play for Spanish side Atletico Madrid.

Coutinho has been linked with a move away from Anfield for well over a year now, and despite interest from the likes of Barcelona and PSG the midfielder has given no indication that he wants to leave the club that he's contracted to until 2020.

However, that hasn't stopped the likes of Luis and Brazil manager Dunga singing his praises, as reported by Liverpool Echo.

"Coutinho asked me how it feels to play in a Champions League final,"? Filipe Luis reportedly said.

"He'd be welcomed at Atletico, he has the quality.

"Coutinho is amazing and can make the difference. We discussed that he can play for top Champions League sides."?

The midfield maestro has started both of Brazil's first two Copa America games aswell as netting a hat-trick in the 7-1 victory over Haiti. With two great performances under his belt, nobody has been more pleased than manager Dunga.

"Coutinho is taking advantage of his opportunity,"? said Dunga.

"He has been following us."Every game and every practice, his confidence is growing.

"We talked with him for him to be the Coutinho of Liverpool, dictate play, lead and take risks."?

Dani Alves has also been among his admirers, citing that Coutinho should be looking into moving to a Champions League side.

"Football is about living the moment,"? said Alves. "Liverpool have history but you should consider playing for top Champions League sides.

"He has the quality to play for Barcelona."?
