Atletico Madrid's in-form striker Fernando Torres has revealed he still has a sour taste in his mouth when thinking back to his time at Chelsea.
The 32-year-old spent five seasons at Stamford Bridge, but came under heavy scrutiny from supporters after failing to live up to his £50m price-tag.
He netted 45 times in 172 appearances for the Blues, but failed to recapture his unrivalled form from his days at Liverpool.
Torres was a part of Chelsea's Champions League winning side in 2012, but he admits that he 'was not in a good place' after being mistreated in West London.
He went on to say winning the Champions League with Atletico would trump any moment so far in his career.
As quoted in the "?Daily Mail, Torres said:
"?"Nothing would beat winning the Champions League with Atletico,
"I won it with Chelsea, but I was not in a good place. I did not feel I was being treated well at the time "? I felt lost.
"I don't want to talk about those moments. My career is going so well at the moment, and I feel so at home and full of confidence that I do not want to relive those days."?
Torres, who is on loan at Atletico from AC Milan, helped his side to a 3rd place La Liga finish, netting 11 goals in the league.
His only Champions League goal came at a vital time; against Barcelona at the Camp Nou in the quarter-final. And he will be hoping to emulate his success against Barca's arch-rivals Real Madrid on May 28th in the final.
