"?Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling bore the brunt of criticism from English fans, having failed to deliver during the second half of the country's Euro 16 opener against Russia at the Stade Velodrome in Marseille on Saturday.
Sterling started on the left side of Roy Hodgson's 4-3-3, and looked pretty dangerous, mostly during the first half, until the real telling moments.
The Three Lions would suffer a disappointing 1-1 draw, and Sterling - largely unimpressive in the second period - was slammed by fans on social media, some of whom were quick to point out that he cost City £50m.
