David Beckham Gave Advice to Jack Wilshere Before Loan Move to Bournemouth

"?According to "?Mail O"?nline, Jack Wilshere took advice from David Beckham before deciding where to go out on loan.

Wilshere secured a season-long deal to Bournemouth on deadline day after being linked with clubs in England and Italy. Arsene Wenger made Wilshere available to gain match sharpness and rediscover his promising form.

The likes of Crystal Palace and Watford were interested in his signature, before Italian giants, Roma and AC Milan enquired.

However, it has emerged that Manchester United legend, David Beckham, shared a phone conversation with Wilshere before he decided on a move to the Vitality Stadium.

Beckham, who went on loan numerous times in his career to AC Milan in 2009 and 2010, advised Wilshere on what would be best for his career.

It is unknown what advice the former England captain gave, but his input highlights how big of a decision the 24-year-old had to make.

Wilshere apparently came close to signing for Roma but the deal fell through after Bournemouth agreed to pay his £80,000-per-week wages in full, along with a £3m loan fee.

Bournemouth's new signing made his Cherries' debut on Saturday in Warren Cummings' testimonial against AC Milan. He will be able to make his competitive debut against West Brom next weekend.

Looking forward to playing in Warren Cummings testimonial tomorrow. Haven't played in a while and will be good to get some minutes! #afcb

It has also been reported that there is no early release clause in his contract, should Arsene Wenger want to recall the player before the end of the season.

The England international missed out on new England manager, Sam Allardyce's first England squad. He has made two appearances so far this season.
