"?Leicester City have returned to the negotiating table, according to CSKA Moscow boss Leonid Slutsky, to the tune of a €30m bid for Ahmed Musa.
The Foxes made an offer for the Nigeria international in January but were rebuffed as the Russian club wanted a higher transfer fee.
Now that Leicester have secured their first ever Premier League title and, with it, prize money and Champions League football, Claudio Ranieri is expected to be handed a war chest to strengthen his side.
"The British club offered a bit less than €30m [£22.86m],"? Slutsky said in quotes published by The Guardian.
"A few days ago, Musa approached me and asked: "?When is he [Claudio Ranieri] back from holiday?' I told him: "?I am not Ranieri, I do not know'.
"I do not know for sure [if Leicester have resumed negotiations] because these negotiations are dealt with by management, but I think the probability is very high."?
Musa has been linked with a number of Premier League sides throughout his career. The 23 year old, who scored 18 goals this season, joined CSKA Moscow from VVV-Venlo in 2012 for €5m.
Musa also boasts a wealth of international experience with 58 caps to his name, the third most of any current Nigerian international.
