"?The Chinese Super League has had a huge influence on the market this season, and they're really looking to milk it at the moment.
Having secured some great talent in the last few weeks, Chinese clubs are hungry for more and have made Tottenham Hotspur midfield ace Dele Alli their newest target.
According to "?ESPN sources, interested Chinese clubs have solicited the assistance of European brokers to try to work out a deal for Alli. The proposed sum would see the 20-year-old become the highest paid player on the planet, with a £809,323-a-week wage offer said to be on the table.
Heads of certain Asian clubs are thought to be preparing a hefty sum for Tottenham as well, and it's all left to the imagination. But one could very well assume that the transfer fee could surpass £250m.
Alli is one of the best young players in Europe right now, and has scored 20 goals in 52 appearances from midfield, more than England legends Frank Lampard, David Beckham and Steven Gerrard had scored by their 52nd appearance.
Snagging this sort of player would do well to raise the prestige of the Chinese league. They have already attracted the likes of Carlos Tevez, Oscar, John Obi Mikel and Axel Witsel this season, and have made offers for Cristiano Ronaldo, Robert Lewandowski and Alexis Sanchez as well.
Alli is also a target for La Liga giants Real Madrid, but they certainly wouldn't be able to compete with Chinese clubs when it comes to finance.
