Roma and Belgium international midfielder Radja Nainggolan has revealed Belgium team-mates Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have tried convincing him to join Chelsea, Belgian publication HLN.be report.
The Chelsea target has also revealed previous meetings with incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte with the midfielder revealing the former Juventus boss was keen on bringing him to Turin three years ago.
The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge but speculation has cooled in recent weeks but talk of a £30m move will persist throughout the summer.
Despite the speculation, Nainggolan is keen on keeping focus ahead of Belgium's participation in Euro 2016 where the Red Devils are considered to be one of the hot favourites to take the trophy home.
But the Roma midfielder has done little to dampen the speculation by revealing past talks with Italian Antonio Conte.
The soon-to-be Chelsea boss was in charge of Juve for three years between 2011 and 2014 while Nainggolan joined the Rome club in 2014 but the Belgian claims Conte was extremely keen on linking up.
"Antonio Conte wanted me some time ago at Juventus," he told reporters. "He told me what kind of player I could be under him and I could feel he really wanted me."
Conte is not the only Chelsea man who is keen on Nainggolan with the 28-year-old revealing Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois attempts to convince of a move to West London this summer.
He added: "Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard have already asked me to join Chelsea but I don't want to talk about a possible transfer at this time.
"I want to now focus fully on the European Championships and play a good tournament, so we can forget about the disappointment of the World Cup."
Conte will see Nainggolan up close and personal in Belgium's Group E opener against Euro 2012 finalists Italy this Sunday with both teams keen on getting an all-important three points.
