"?Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has denied reports that manager Antonio Conte has told him that he can leave the club, saying that he is fully committed to playing for the Blues this season.

The 29-year-old has played just a handful of minutes in the club's three Premier League games under Conte, coming off the bench against Watford to ping a brilliant pass towards Diego Costa for the Blues' winner.

Some have taken the Spaniard's lack of game time as a hint that he is on the verge of being shown the door at Stamford Bridge, but he took to Twitter on Sunday night to insist: "Contrary to what has been written, the manager and I have a good relationship and he has NEVER told me that I can leave.

"He said that he counts on me, as I count on him. I will continue to fight for this club until the very end and when called upon I will always give my best. I am fully committed to Chelsea and my only goal is to help them win football matches."

.../ctd I will always give my very best. I'm fully committed to @ChelseaFC and my only goal is to help them win football matches.

The series of messages followed the ramping up of suggestions that Conte believed that the former Barcelona and Arsenal star was too 'lazy' to fit into his system properly - instead preferring Nemanja Matic in the centre of the park.

Fabregas joined the Blues back in 2014, contributing a massive 25 assists in his first two seasons at the club - although some have blamed him for the toxic atmosphere around the squad which led to the departure of manager Jose Mourinho last season.
