Carlo Ancelotti Insists Bayern Munich Will Not Be Making Any Further Signings

Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he is satisfied with the options at his disposal and will not make any further signings this summer, FourFourTwo report.

The Bundesliga champions allowed attacking midfielder Mario Gotze to rejoin Borussia Dortmund for £22m, but they had already added teenage sensation Renato Sanches from Benfica and Mats Hummels from Dortmund to their talented squad.

Central defender Medhi Benatia was also allowed to depart to Juventus on loan, but Ancelotti is confident that his current options are more than enough to compete at home and in Europe next season.

"I think we are covered in all the positions," he told reporters on Tuesday. "We don't need to have other players. I'm really happy with this squad and we don't need to buy other players because I think we have a good squad."

Bayern's star striker Robert Lewandowski, who scored 30 Bundesliga goals last season, has been repeatedly linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid, but Ancelotti has reiterated that the Poland international will not be leaving the Allianz Arena.

"I have seen him play a lot of times," he said. "Last year he scored a lot of goals, he's a fantastic striker, we need these players so we are really happy to have him here so there are not other things to say.

"He's really important for us. He's not the only player, fortunately. I think we have a fantastic squad and we will be competitive all season."

The former Real Madrid boss is currently preparing his side for their game against AC Milan in the International Champions Cup and while a number of players are still absent from their exertions in Euro 2016, he is set to play Holger Badstuber.

The central defender has been plagued by a number of injuries over the past few years but he was returned to full fitness after breaking his ankle and Ancelotti says the German will feature for at least "30-40 minutes" of the friendly.
