Stuart Baxter announced that Thulani Hlatshwayo will remain the captain of the national side as the prepare to take on Nigeria in the opening match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The clash takes place on Saturday, 10 June 2017 at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo State, Nigeria. Kickoff is at 17h00.

On the 25th of May the new appointed Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter announced his squad which consisted of three Bidvest Wits Players.

Baxer’s men assembled for camp on Sunday, 4 June 2017. There will be two training sessions on today and Tomorrow, before the team jets off on Wednesday,  the 7th of June to Uyo State via Lagos.
