Ben Chilwell has told #LFC he wants to move to Anfield in the summer- @MelissaReddy_.

"?The Reds are looking for a long-term replacement for the much-maligned Alberto Moreno, and the need for a new face has stepped up following the Spaniard's erratic performance in the Europa League final defeat to Sevilla on Wednesday.

Chilwell was a part of the Leicester squad that won the Premier League this season, though he has made just three first team appearances in the domestic cups. The 18-year-old has been growing frustrated with his lack of game time with the Foxes, and it's said that the player has rejected a new contract offer in order to link up with the Anfield outfit.

He'll be set to cost Klopp around £3m, and that the Reds will win the race for his signature ahead of the Gunners - who attempted to convince the player to join them in January.

Arsenal have been looking for a replacement for Kieran Gibbs - who has been linked with Newcastle - though Chilwell, who is entering the final 12 months of his current contract, is determined to press on with a move to Merseyside instead.

The youngster was named Leicester's Academy Player of the Year for 2014/15, and promoted to the first team on the arrival of Claudio Ranieri. He has however spent a chunk of the last season out on loan with Huddersfield Town - working with Klopp's close friend David Wagner.
