Portugal's young star Renato Sanches could be in line with a place in the starting line-up against against Austria on Saturday.
The 18-year-old broke Cristiano Ronaldo's record of being the youngest Portuguese player at an international competition after appearing in a 1-1 draw against Iceland on Tuesday.
Sanches, who recently moved to Bayern Munich from Benfica for £39m, was just 18 years and 301 days old when he came on as a second-half substitute against Iceland, beating Cristiano Ronaldo who made his first appearance at Euro 2004 as a 19-year-old.
"Everything is going well and I'm very happy to be here," Sanches told reporters on Thursday.
"I know there are other midfielders that are more experienced and have been more years playing in the national team than me but I'm well and ready to play."
Portugal coach Fernando Santos has stated he will make 'two or three changes' for their game against Austria, who lost 2-0 to Hungary in their opening game.
"It's the coach that has the final say," Sanches added. "But as the coach said, any of the 23 players in the team can start and I feel useful to the team. If given the opportunity, I will give my all.
"After the (Iceland) game we were disappointed because our aim was to win but it hasn't affected us,
"We made mistakes and the coach already went through those with us. A game doesn't change everything and we are now ready for our next match."
