Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo told French radio station "?RMC that prized asset Antoine Griezmann, reportedly targeted by Manchester United and Chelsea, is not up for grabs ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
The 68-year-old said: "Antoine Griezmann is an Atletico Madrid player.
"He also has a long-term contract with the club. I don't want him to leave."
Cerezo was also asked to clarify whether Griezmann had a £60 million release clause in his contract - a potential sticking point if the La Liga club wanted to keep hold of the forward.
"I don't remember, but it's very high. It's in line with the value of the player," Cerezo added.
Cerezo was forced to respond to the speculation surrounding Griezmann's future after his agent, Eric Olhats, had recently told L'Equipe that his client had been speaking to interested parties.
"We are currently listening to different clubs who also offer real interest and attraction," Olhats said.
"Contrary to certain claims announcing that Antoine at Atletico next season will be the case without fail, nothing has been decided or endorsed."
Griezmann has become one of the most coveted strikers in European football after scoring 32 goals in 53 appearances in all competitions last season.
The France international will no doubt be part of manager Diego Simeone's starting eleven for Saturday's UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
And the eyes of the world will be on 25-year-old Griezmann, who is said to be interesting a number of top clubs throughout Europe.
Griezmann joined Atletico from fellow Spanish outfit Real Sociedad for a fee throught to be worth £22.5 million in the summer of 2014, and has bagged 57 goals and 13 assists in 106 appearances since then.
