"?Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has revealed which games he always looks out for following the official release of the fixture list for the 2016/17 Premier League season this week, paying particular attention to the games around the festive period in December and January.
Beyond the obvious first game, against Liverpool on 13th August, the derbies against Tottenham in November and April, and the rest of the big clubs, Cech told Arsenal.com that he is also always keen to check out what Christmas has in store.
"I look what fixtures we have around Christmas, because it makes a difference because of how far you travel - who you play home and away depends on travelling," he said.
"This is not because I would like to have a better Christmas, but it is because the games are thick and fast in that period and you are looking where you have to travel to."
The Gunners face six Premier League games in December this time around, as well as the sixth and final match-day in the Champions League group stage, putting plenty of strain on the players during the month.
Of particular note, Arsenal face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in their final game before Christmas, but have the benefit of a home game against West Brom on Boxing Day that will reduce the amount of travelling that has to be done.
The team then finishes the calendar year with another game that will involve little travel as they make the short journey across London for a meeting with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
But before the Premier League season kicks off for real, Arsenal face a pair of friendlies in the United States against an MLS All-Star team and Mexican giant Chivas de Guadalajara.
After returning to Europe, there will be two more warm-up games, one against Viking FK in Norway on 5th August, and one against Manchester City in Sweden on 7th August.
