Arsenal Target Discusses Future Amidst Apparent Real Madrid Interest

Published on: 01 June 2016

Reported "?Arsenal and Real Madrid target Alvaro Morata has discussed his future once again, confirming that a move to the Spanish giants would interest him but insisting that he would prefer not to think about his future until after Euro 2016.

The Juventus forward netted twice for Spain against South Korea on Wednesday evening, helping his side to a 6-1 win as they ramp up their preparations for a defence of the European Championships they win in 2008 and 2012.

"?Speaking after the match, he said: "There are things that I don't trust. I don't know what comes out in the press. What player would not like to be at Real Madrid? They're the best club in the world. There are things that come out that I've not said and now I want to focus on the European Championships,"?

His words come just days after he was quoted talking up a move to the Premier League, saying: "There are some offers from England that are tempting, not only by the contract. I think for my characteristics the Premier League would also be a great destination. I'm not saying that you want me to go to Juventus, a team that I can only speak well of.

"I say going to the Premier League would not be a step backwards. With what I have learned in Italy, if I have the chance to learn something more in England I think it would make me a more complete, better player. I am 23-years-old and what I want is to progress, play, and learn from the best."?

Real are reportedly considering triggering a buy-back clause in Morata's Juventus contract, with manager Zinedine Zidane "?saying on Wednesday:

"He has grown a lot in Italy. I don't know what will happen, but he did very well at Juventus. It is normal that they still want to keep him for another year, so we will see what happens. It's not the time to talk about it yet."
