"?Arsenal are growing increasingly uneasy over the future of their star play-maker Mesut Ozil, after the German international rebuffed the club's advances over a contract extension for a second time, reports "?The Sun.
The £42.5m signing from Real Madrid, who has two years left on his current deal, has been in scintillating form, having assisted his team-mates on 19 occasions last season, as well as scoring six, but if reports are to be believed, German giants Bayern Munich are keen to bring Ozil back to Germany.
The 27-year-old is said to have told officials at the North London club that he does not want anything to get in the way of his preparations for the upcoming European Championships in France, although according to the report, Ozil is keen to spend the prime of his career at a "club who are regularly challenging for the game's biggest honours."
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is preparing to lessen the blow with the capture of Wolfsburg's Swiss star Ricardo Rodriguez, according to German publication Kicker.
Uncertainty surrounds their left-back spot with regular Nacho Monreal approaching 30 and England full-back Kieran Gibbs out of favour.
Rodriguez, 23, is noted for his forward runs, which it is hoped would compliment those of right-back Hector Bellerin on the opposite flank. However, the Swiss international, whose compatriot Granit Xhaka has recently signed for the club, is interested in a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
